Our Beginnings

From little things, big things grow

We're a family business; always have been, always will be.

Jessie May's came from humble beginnings, with founder & Director Jess creating JMSS as a way to support her young family by providing domestic and commercial cleans. Her high standards attracted rapid growth, and she was soon fortunate enough to be in a position to offer cleaning services to NDIS, TAC, and Workcover participants. In cleaning for these clients, Jess quickly realised the need for quality, personalised support for these participants, and Jessie May's evolved to include support services.

Fast forward a decade, and here we are today, proudly supporting hundreds of people, connected and collaborating alongside many similar organisations to deliver care within the community and providing employment to nearly 50 locals.

Meet the Jessie May Family

Our team comes from all walks of life and holds a vast array of personal and professional experience, which enables us as a team to provide an empathetic, practical approach to your care needs.

  • Jessica Jarvis - Managing Director

Jess has lived in the Gippsland region most of her life and is raising her family in this beautiful part of the world. Jess is very passionate about connection and support within our local community.

Having been in the business management sector for over a decade now, Jess has successfully built Jessie Mays from the ground up: transforming her cleaning service business model when she recognised the need for further in-home assistance within our community, allowing us to grow into who we are today. With the holistic vision of support services, the creation of Jessie Mays Support Solutions came about, and we are now providing in-home services such as domestic assistance, personal care, respite, disability care, aged care, community access and social connection for a large group of vulnerable people within the NDIS and Aged Care sectors, with continuous expansion into other areas of support and geographic distribution across Gippsland.

Jess has always had a passion for helping those in need and is driven to create an environment that acknowledges and accepts diversity within our workforce and community. She holds the JMSS values to a high standard, and they are close to her heart.

In Jess’s capacity as the Managing Director of JMSS, she actively works to cultivate an environment of inclusion and equality throughout our team of corporate and support staff and engages within the community support sector to form collaborative connections in Gippsland.

Jess’s role is to oversee the overall company operations and business strategies by working closely with the management team on development, improvement, and day-to-day activities. Jess remains approachable and accessible to all her staff and is actively involved in resolution processes at all levels..

I started being supported by Jessie May's Support Solutions in June 2020. With the wonderful help of my Jessie May's workers, they give me the confidence and support to achieve tasks that would be otherwise unthinkable to achieve.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We started being supported by Jessie May's Support Solutions in July 2020. Since then, we have had a tremendous amount of help and support. They have seen us through surgeries, new diagnoses, and the birth of our premature baby. They have supported our children in a group environment and one on one to assist our children to grow and develop. Having this support, especially through Covid-19 lockdowns has been invaluable. They have helped us with our kids, our plans and our funding. They are a part of our family now, and we always look forward to their visits and support.
